Kara & Hunter's wedding was my first truly out of town wedding away from Jacksonville, FL. And I have to say it was so great to spend a night away from Jacksonville with my assistant Taylor and then photograph Kara & Hunter's beautiful Sunday wedding. The venue was the Women's Club of Tallahassee, situated in the middle of residential streets and under the shade of a few big oak trees. The ceremony was indoors which was perfect since it was already in the 90s here in sunny Florida.
I didn't have the pleasure of doing an engagement session with these two, but Kara and I connected over our Skype session and our emails were in sync planning out the timeline and portraits needed for her very large family. They also decided on doing a first look which was great because it gave us plenty of time prior to the ceremony to get their portraits session done and then also all of their family portraits.
The day of Kara's wedding was perfect and their story is the sweetest I've ever heard. You see, these two did not say "I love you" until they were engaged. And they had been dating for four years. Both of them attend Georgia Southern University and Hunter proposed in front of their closest friends. They are truly a Godly couple, and it was evident throughout their entire wedding day. They also performed a foot washing ceremony. It was so sweet that the first act into their marriage was showing that they were ready to serve one another.
The colors that Kara picked out were gorgeous, and all the details were perfect. Hunter is such a lucky man to have her, and she was glowing that day. And I love her dimples! She has the prettiest smile! Enjoy more from Kara & Hunter's wedding day and if you need a wedding photographer, and your wedding is in the Panhandle of Florida or even in Georgia, please contact me! I love to travel!
