A few days before Nicole & Weston's engagement session they asked me if they could change their location to Washington Oaks State Park. And if you're a photographer like me you jump at the chance to take pictures at this gorgeous location. The weather could not have been more perfect. The day started off cold and cloudy but by the time we arrived we had clear skies and a little warmer weather. I was glad it was on the chillier side though because that kept the bugs away from the park that have been terrible since Hurricane Matthew came through this past fall. And it helped them to snuggle a little closer for more intimate pictures.
Nicole & Weston were so much fun to photograph. I love it when I can joke around with my couples and get to know you more. And when we drove over to the beach across from the park Nicole told me that Weston had proposed on the beach at their family's condo nearby. When she said that, this was the perfect place for her to do her engagement pictures. The dress she wore for the beach pictures was gorgeous and will be the same colors in her wedding, navy blue.
Can I just tell you that the sunsets at this beach are amazing! I haven't seen a bad one yet! I love this time right at sunset to photograph my couples! If you want a sunset beach session please reach out to me! They are my absolute favorites! :) Enjoy these pictures from Nicole & Weston's engagement session. I can't wait to deliver these to them. And I absolutely can not wait to photograph their wedding this November!
Oh my gosh that sunset you guys! -drooling over here lol-
